The Algarve is alluring. Coastal Algarve receives much exposure for its breathtaking cliffs, golden beaches, scalloped bays and sandy islands. It is also the most insane party destination I have ever visited.
After arriving in Lagos on an overnight train from Madrid I have basically not stopped partying. I am staying at a hotel called ‘The Camel Toe’ which really should have rang alarm bells and although it is nuts, it is so much fun!
Drinking here is incredibly cheap at is completely tailored towards the backpacking community – some really great bars.
Many, many stories to tell that are not appropriate for this blog but the most memorable night here in Lagos was the Algarve Beach Party at Praia da Batata which headlined Grove Armada, DJ Vibe, Dawn Penn & Toby One King Biz! A crazy night which led to my decision to move on to Lisbon. After 6 nights here, another detox is required ASAP!
NOTE: Nightlife definitely more appropriate for 18-24 yr olds.
